This is Deanna Malai, but you can call me Deanna. So how did I become a model? Well, I started off as a dancer (modern/jazz/hip hop/ballet/lyrical and more), and choreographed/performed for many local shows as I was growing up.

I started acting and singing in plays and musicals, and fell in love with the performing arts. Also, I enjoy writing (and reading) because because it motivates me to express myself in a positive manner similar to performing art.

I did a few photo shoots in high school for headshots, but I did not start “modeling” until I turned 19, but I love it and definitely consider it another form of art. I plan to keep doing this and see how far I can go.

I love the entertainment industry, so I want to show the world my capabilities as an artist (which includes modeling). In the meantime, I am in college and working towards my degree in philosophy and professional writing.
